SyncSelf is a Calgary-based narrative practice for professionals who feel successful on paper but misaligned inside. It is a space for people who have “done everything right” yet still feel off-course, like a manager quietly debating a career change, a founder questioning their next move, or a student wondering if the path they chose still fits.
Here, you are treated as the main character of your own story, not a problem to be fixed. Together, we look at the threads of your life so far—your choices, turning points, and quiet “whys”—and explore what they are trying to tell you about where to go next. The work is not about diagnosis or performance; it is about helping you hear yourself clearly enough that your next decisions feel like they actually belong to you.
About Monique
I’m Monique, a Narrative Specialist. I don’t sit across from you as a clinical expert with a diagnosis, but as a facilitator of your own wisdom. My passion for Narrative Practice stems from a simple belief: our stories shape us, but we also have the power to reshape them. I provide a dedicated, 90-minute space where we move past the daily "to-do list" and look at the "meaning list."
Together, we chart a roadmap that doesn't just look good on paper, but feels right in your heart.
A bit about the background behind SyncSelf: the work draws on formal training in guidance and counselling, registration in the field of social work, and years of experience in roles that support people through transition and uncertainty. Alongside this, creative disciplines like photography and interior design shape how space, symbolism, and small details are used in conversation, helping you see your own story from fresh angles.
